take more pictures of my boyfriend and I

This is one of many pictures taken on a lazy, silly day some months ago. We were stupid and we had a camera, like Kevin Smith (you be quiet unless you live in New Jersey, too). But this one turned out relatively sane-looking save that we each look half-magical creature.

Ahh, to be in the same state as Bill. I’m anchored here because of school, but his career affords him a certain flexibility. He’s a Marine Biologist, so, he can look for jobs anywhere there’s water.

And look at that, New Jersey’s a peninsula.

No more 5- or 8-day trips to see each other over holidays.

...granted, this is the same fellow who, at the end of the movie Garden State, was standing up, yelling at Zach Braff’s character “NO!! Do NOT move back to New Jersey for a GIRL!!”

What literary device is that, irony or foreshadowing? :)
