Right now I have $25 in my savings because of a little set back, but once I get the money from InboxDollars, my rebate for Joe’s beer, and my reimbursement from WW and work, I’ll have an extra $105 to add to the savings :)
I had a small talk with Joe about how I might just take what he has in his savings, if it’s there at all, and open an account and put all the money we have saved so far in it and just let it sit there and collect interest, don’t take anything out, just keep adding to it. I think it sounds like an amazing idea.
and for those who are truly all about saving money, I have found an AMAZING site that helps teach you how to do it. It’s where I’ve been getting my ideas from lately and so far it has been working for me!
http://meelothemouse.com/ and the guy running it has been answering my questions left and right! seriously, if you need help with any saving goals, definitely check this site out!

Joe has $200 set aside in his savings, we’re hoping to get more saved up, we’ll see though.

We have a bank that tells you how much you have in it, basically it registers each coin and let’s you know what’s in there. So once we get it full, we decided we’re going to roll all the change and then take it to the bank and put it in our savings. I like doing it this way because it’s not a huge amount, but Joe’s more likely to put his change in the bank and not take anything out of it.

I have $310 in my savings, not including the money that has to be in there to keep it open, but yeah I took half my return and put it in there and kept the rest in my checking so I have money, I don’t plan on spending all of my money in my checking, just have it in there so I know if I need to I can get something, but I’m not going to go crazy. Every paycheck at least $25 is going in there…so yay for saving!

so I got all my Christmas shopping done so now I am able to put at least $50 from each check in my savings. So I’m really looking forward to seeing how well I do with this.

My mom just retired so she’s going to be able to help me do some yard sales this year, which should bring in a few hundred dollars, yeah we have that much stuff to get rid of. As long as I put it in the paper I have no doubt we’ll make that much money, and instead of spending it like I always do I plan on putting it in my savings account. I really need to get back on track with saving, I plan on saving $10-$25 from each paycheck, as long as I get consistent hours again, and then whatever I make from the internet and yard sales and things like that, I plan on taking that and putting it in my savings.

Ok, I’ve pretty much finished all my Christmas shopping, just a few little gifts to get and then I’m done. I have a few bills I have to pay off, my credit cards, and all that. I have a full time job, but it seems every time I turn around that money is gone. I get $40 a week from my mom for doing stuff around the house and helping take care of my brother. I started selling stuff online again so that’s more extra money coming in. I also belong to three really good online money making sites so I’m hoping with all of this, I can do this.
