Save money

So I’ve been putting a little money from each paycheck in my savings account, I found it on a site called the paycheck challenge, anyway, I’m actually doing it. I had a little set back though because times get hard you know how that is.

Well I’m getting back on track again and I even talked to Joe about taking what he has in his savings and putting it all together in a new account to earn more interest! :) I need to get it set up though :)

and for those who are truly all about saving money, I have found an AMAZING site that helps teach you how to do it. It’s where I’ve been getting my ideas from lately and so far it has been working for me!

Been doing the paycheck challenge, Joe too. We save all of our change so that’s going well. Hopefully this is our year and we do well in it :)

So I won’t be able to save anytime soon…I am going to the dentist today to get at least one of my wisdom teeth pulled and my mom’s going to pay for it now and I have to pay her back. It’s $400 because I don’t have insurance. This is going to be rough especially since we really have only Joe’s income, Target doesn’t give me hours, so I’m looking for a new job…it just sucks having all these bills and random things keep coming up…we’ll get there some day

My mom just retired so she’s going to be able to help me do some yard sales this year, which should bring in a few hundred dollars, yeah we have that much stuff to get rid of. As long as I put it in the paper I have no doubt we’ll make that much money, and instead of spending it like I always do I plan on putting it in my savings account. I really need to get back on track with saving, I plan on saving $10-$25 from each paycheck, as long as I get consistent hours again, and then whatever I make from the internet and yard sales and things like that, I plan on taking that and putting it in my savings.

I’m happy that I haven’t touched the last two paychecks I’ve gotten…you have no idea what that’s like for me! Usually I go out and buy something right away with it, but this time I haven’t, well the past two times. I’m proud of myself right now.
