spend less money

So I found a site that basically taught me that I’m allowed to have an allowance each month but I can’t go over that allowance. Basically saying hey you earned it, why can’t you have something! And I agree! But of course you have to make sure everything else is taken care of as well. You can’t just be like hey I’m going to blow my entire paycheck on a tv, screw paying the electric and rent….

So… I’ve been putting a little money from each paycheck in my savings account, I found it on a site called the paycheck challenge, anyway, I’m actually doing it. I had a little set back though because times get hard you know how that is. Well I’m getting back on track again and I even talked to Joe about taking what he has in his savings and putting it all together in a new account to earn more interest! :) I need to get it set up though :)

and for those who are truly all about saving money, I have found an AMAZING site that helps teach you how to do it. It’s where I’ve been getting my ideas from lately and so far it has been working for me!

My mom just retired so she’s going to be able to help me do some yard sales this year, which should bring in a few hundred dollars, yeah we have that much stuff to get rid of. As long as I put it in the paper I have no doubt we’ll make that much money, and instead of spending it like I always do I plan on putting it in my savings account. I really need to get back on track with saving, I plan on saving $10-$25 from each paycheck, as long as I get consistent hours again, and then whatever I make from the internet and yard sales and things like that, I plan on taking that and putting it in my savings.

I just got back from going to big lots with my mom and I had no intention of buying anything…and I spent 71 dollars….

I haven’t spent money in a week, then my friend had a candle party and I ended up spending 61 dollars…If I can keep half of my paycheck a week without spending it that would be amazing. My next paycheck goes to my brother and my mom, and then I think I’m left with like forty dollars.
