really! During basic training we were going up and down the stairs 4-6 times a day, and we lived on the 12th floor. Plus our morning workouts 3 times a week and then our gym/pool sessions with the fitness staff. I was looking pretty damn good.
Then, I got taken off basic in week 5 because I shouldn’t have been there in the first place (previous service) and got posted to my unit. Over the following 3 weeks I slowed right down, unfortunately.
Luckily now I am back right into it. Every day on my military/college course, we do our own PT (physical training). And I have set myself up to do my second half-marathon after the one in May. We’ll see.
Getting better especially considering I am adding a lot of nice muscle on. Yet, I can grab my love handles a little too easily and it shows me that my diet is still far from perfect.
