Read 4 "classics."

I decided to revise this goal, from reading classics by specific authors to just reading four classics. When I made the goal, I thought chosing the authors from the first four letters of the alphabet would make it easier, but I’ve had second thoughts about that. I actually wanted to re-read 1984 (and did) and that’s a classic, and I’ve been feeling an urge to read Lorna Doone. So I decided to give myself a little more freedom of choice for this goal.

I had thought I would read some classics, choosing authors alphabetically. But I kind of got sidetracked and decided to re-read Orwell’s 1984 as my first classic. Now I’m reading Austen’s Emma, which so far is rather a bore.
