I was browsing through people’s things earlier and I found out that someone was disappointed that they didn’t receive a banana in the mail!!! I already found out that it’s possible to send and receive bananas from several states away in the USA, so now I want to send this person a banana (but I think I’ll do it secretly and not reveal who it is)! If you know that I have your address and you receive a banana in the mail next week…it’s most likely from me…

mailer

Today I mailed a banana to yrush!!! Mailed it similar to the way Des and dwlt mailed a banana to me. Just stuck the stamps on it…I put $1.78 (USD) worth of stamps onto it. At first, I wrote her address down on the banana peel, but I later just wrote it onto a piece of paper because the banana might get darker and I don’t want the address to become unreadable. I also covered the banana with tape, so that it will take longer to spoil and it will be ready to eat once it reaches its destination!!!

mail

One of the people I’m going to mail the banana to recently moved, so I verified his address with him and then he asked, “Why, did you mail something?” I avoided the question and changed the subject quickly because I want the banana to be a surprise. I’m waiting to mail it until the holiday season is over…when blue mail boxes are less full…

banana

I’m planning to just write the address and stick the postage onto the actual banana peel (no package or box) and I’m going to drop it into a blue mailbox or inside a post office’s mail slot. How many stamps should I put on the banana to make sure that it gets sent? I have a couple of people in mind that I would like to send it to (within the U.S.), so I’m thinking that maybe two 39 cent stamps will be okay?
