I’ve signed up with YogaWorks. They have quite the deal for two weeks of unlimited yoga classes for only $25! WOW. So I’m doing the Level Two classes and really enjoying myself. We did not do the headstand, but instead did the handstand, which I also can not do. My shoulder is too weak. I suppose the handstand will have to become a goal now too.

I’m not a fan of the dolphin for two reasons: too much pressure on my shoulder and tight hamstrings. I injured my shoulder seven years ago playing fast pitch softball in highschool. I appreciate yoga for many reasons, one of them being a better understanding of the limitations and possibilities of my body. My shoulder’s crap. Downward Facing Dog has strengthened it, but nothing will fix it. Again, what I find myself needing and apparently lacking is PATIENCE.
