finish my quilt

started a memory quilt for my daughter. “Crayon box” the block sew up very quickly. Also doing a 2” memory square quilt with fabrics I’ve use in other quilts and misc. Fun!

trimmed edges of quilt. Did about 70 inches, have about 18 to go. sewed more strips to add. Hope I don’t run out of fabric.

After a misstep, where the light blue was too periwinkle, I found a good border fabric and sewed a few more strips.

Sewed several more rows in the last 2 days. It’s looking good. I’ll have to take a picture. Bought fabric for binding, but it’s too periwinkle, so will try again.

I worked on it for over an hour today. Unfortunately had to tear out a whole row that I sewed on upside down. Got a new idea about doing the edges that will use fabric that’s already cut. Tomorrow will measure it on the bed and maybe look for the binding fabric.
