age gracefully

Occasionally I try not to act my age and take a ride on the grocery carts in the parking lot. Now – if only I could do it without looking to see who’s watching.

I realized that some of the goals I have fit under this broader goal. A lot of it comes down to taking care of myself – food, exercise, sleep, using moisturizer, drinking lots of water, regular checkups, positive relationships, new challenges.

I decided to go ahead with the invisalign braces. I had been thinking that 50 was too old, that I lived with my teeth crooked for this long…that it’s too much money. I won’t have plastic surgery ever. I don’t lighten my hair after chemo 6 yrs. ago. The checking account was currently happy, dental insurance was good, so I decided to go ahead. Change can be good.
