Fund 43 microloans through Kiva.org

11th loan made, 4 paying back and 7 paid back. I’m recycling the original money lent now. I’m 1/4 of the way to the goal of 43 loans.

Up to 10 loans now, all from recycling the original 4 loans. I made the 10th loan today, and the first one in 2006 I think.

Can’t remember the exact number of loans, its around 8 or so. Now I;m recycling money that has been paid back from previous loans, which is great.

7 loans complete now, all from the the same $100 I put about 2 years ago. Amazing.

One loan has been repaid, congratulations to them and I hope all goes well. I’ve put that money into another loan, for a group of women in Pakistan who are supporting their families with small businesses. I love Kiva.

All 4 loans are being paid back. Some are doing well and some are struggling.

OK I checked today and all the money has been given out – good luck and good trading to all!

Cambodia, Cameroon, Mexico and Tajikistan.

2 more today. I’ve decided to start with 4 as its a nice round number of $100, and see how it goes for a while.

I’m really impressed by these people working so hard to better their lives and support their families.
