move out of the city

... although the Peterborough transit system is not to be believed! But I can hear crickets at night. I want to buy a house on the river.

We don’t move until the 28th, but I finally saw the apartment on Sunday (my husband was the one who viewed it and applied for it). It’s not palatial, but it should be okay for the year he’s in school. Hopefully, after that, we’ll work on buying a house. Most importantly, I think my cat’s going to love the floor-to-ceiling windows!

Our application for a two-bedroom apartment in Peterborough, which, might I add, costs less than our one-bedroom apartment in Toronto, has been accepted. We take possession on July 15th. Gosh.

I’ve been after my husband for a while now to move out of Toronto, and now he’s been accepted to teacher’s college at Trent, so we’re going. And once he’s done, we’ll decide if we want to stay.
