Since the beginning of September, I’ve been walking to the library instead of driving. It takes me about 15 minutes to walk there. I walk home for lunch and back too. So that means I am walking for an hour every day.

I’ve been suffering from insomnia for the last 3 weeks. I’ve been waking up anywhere between 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. When I wake up, I am completely alert. It’s a very strange feeling. It’s like my brain has an on/off switch. I can tell that I won’t fall asleep again.
My insomnia has been frustrating me tremendously. This morning, however, when I woke up at 5 a.m., I had an inspired thought to do something instead of lay in bed and think about not sleeping. I got up and I rode my exercise bike for an hour. I felt good after the workout.
I’m going to take advantage of my insomnia time and ride the bike when I know there’s no going back to sleep.
Finding time to be active has always been my problem. Now I’ve got this weird time in the day that I never had before to exercise.
