I’m finding it really hard to actually do this day in and day out. I’m not sure why; its only 10 minutes for god’s sake. The only way I can rationalise it is by thinking that writing in my journal is just as good as meditating but really, I should be able to put in 10 minutes a day to meditating shouldn’t I?

I’ve just been on a 1 hour meditation class at a local buddhist centre and it has reminded and inspired me again to focus on my meditation. The class was fantastic and the monk instructing us was remarkable in her focus and peacefulness and also in her communication of what we were trying to achieve in the meditation. It has really inspired me and so I’m going to meditate twice a day for 10 minutes each (to start with) to see if I can improve and see benefits.
The goal here is to meditate daily for clarity and peace of mind, I know doing this helps me through the day and so I should do it every day… should being the key work here!
