I should be at my goal in March! Got behind a couple of months – we took a vacation that we hadn’t planned on, had my husband’s 40th birthday party, Christmas, yadda yadda yadda… but I am almost there! This feels really good.
Halfway there! I probably could have gotten there quicker if I hadn’t turned down the promotion they offered me last week. I don’t want that frigging job, it’s the third time they have offered it to me. I work full-time, go to school part-time, the last thing I need is more stress, and having to work late hours and weekends which would make me miss a lot of school. No thinks. It goes against my work ethic as well. Taking a promotion when I know I have plans to leave here within a year. That’s not right. Anyway – I am half way to $30K, and on target to have another $12K saved by year end. But I am going to scrimp and squeeze and save every penny I can to try to reach my goal by years end. We will see!
