from doing this?
A few things:
Taking your laundry on the bus is a gigantic pain. Especially when you have to WALK your laundry to the ‘mat after you get off the bus. FOUR blocks with a full bag of laundry.
Sometimes, I can’t believe I do this voluntarily.
Secondly, I stuff the bag full of laundry, for efficiency’s sake. But maybe I would actually DO my laundry more often if I didn’t have to walk with such a heavy bag.
Thirdly, I should find some laundromats closer to home and tour the facilities. I might decide to change my locale. The laundromat I currently frequent (and I do use the word “frequent” with a lush sense of irony) was recommended to me for its quality of non-skeeviness. It’s over by the University and gets a lot of student patronage. But SURELY in all of pleasant Wallingford there is another, closer, non-skeevy laundromat!

two loads in one day today.
I have about 2 1/2 loads left before I’m caught up.
I can do one load tomorrow, and one load Thurs. afternoon.
I HATE bussing my laundry to the laundromat!!!!

for getting this one started.
The only way this is going to work is if I take a whole day and do 3-4 loads of laundry (because of the laundromat situation, this will literally take ALL DAY when you factor in meal breaks). Then, one load once a week.
Will tomorrow be my day???
It all depends on how I feel tomorrow. (Sometimes on my days off, I need to answer to bodily fatigue [... it … really … bites …] )

because I have to take my laundry to the laundromat … and I don’t own a car.
I can take one load with me on the bus. Including waiting and riding transportation, each load takes about 2 hours.
Once I catch up, I can do one load a weekend and stay caught up (I think).
On the other hand, the laundromat has free wireless … so I can spend more time on 43 Things. ;)
