I think I’ll have time this Spring/Summer for some lessons, so I really need to look into it. Maybe they offer some through community ed? Or at the golf course? I’ll have to check.

I never really cared one way or the other about golf, and therefore never played. But I’m realizing more and more that in business, everyone plays. And more importantly, business deals can often occur on the course because it’s what a lot of businesspeople have in common, and if you can get that much 1:1 time with someone you need to do business with, you have a great opportunity to make your case and do some networking.
Therefore, I decided that I need to learn just enough golf so that I don’t look like a complete idiot. If I end up enjoying it, all the better.
So what’s the best way to learn? Lessons are a little expensive. I’ve been told going to the driving range is a good way to start, and then just getting out there with some friends to practice. Maybe one lesson would be good so that I don’t start any bad habits.
