find at least one thing each day that makes me happy and record it everyday for a year

Started the day with a training. It was fun and I got free stuff;)

Getting along with my sweetie much better then a few weeks ago!

My cousin stopped by today!

The sunflower is like 6 feet tall or taller!! It’s facing west.

My neighbors are all total sweethearts. All 7 of them!

No one is forcing me to be vaccinated today. Yay!

Okay, that’s not the thing I feel most grateful for.

- My sweetheart can say hurtful things (unintentionally) but he is also very loving and sweet and feels bad if he sees me hurting.

- I went to water my garden today and it looks amazing!!! I made some compost tea (outside in a huge garbage can) which is stinky and I was worried that it would kill my plants (even thought it’s supposed to fertilize them). I added a bunch of it to my garden two days ago and I think that’s why it has grown so much and so lush!

- My cat slept on me for a few hours this morning which he hasn’t been doing as much lately. I realized that he doesn’t like to be pet too much right now so I just enjoyed him with out petting him!.

- It’s a beautiful day

Today

My neighbor Karl is a mechanic and works on fancy older cars. He helped me this morning and checked my oil, water, tires, breaks and lots of other things that was so sweet of him and made me feel so good!!! :)

Last night I had fun talking to a sweet person and a wonderful conversationalist. It made my night go well and totally ruined my sleep;) But it’s okay…because I realize today that I didn’t need to sleep much last night. I feel great today.

The house is fairly neat and tidy.

I am getting closer to putting in my Spring garden.

I miss my coworkers after being off work so much lately!!

I was tired all day…couldn’t get going. Then two friends of mine came into my work. I chatted with one about what to get his girlfriend for her Easter basket. HE was very sweet and he also tried to give me some tips to feel better.
The second friend is also some sort of a healer (not sure how he does it exactly)...he wanted to do a healing on me so that I could tell my friend about him. Anyway, he did do a healing on me. I just enjoyed being in his presence so much and he is just a sweetheart. That alone is healing;)

Started reading Moby Dick out loud. Herman Melville’s writing style is amazing…and playful. I think I am going to have fun with this one.

Best $20 massage ever! Someone told me about a place where you can get an inexpensive foot massage (Wilshire & Gramercy for any of you in LA!). I went with my friend Ian and the massage lasted for 1 hour. They started off by soaking our feet in buckets. During that soaking time they did a neck, back and arm massage. After that, you sit in a reclining chair. They cover one of your feet with towel and work on the other. She also massaged my head and face and shoulders. Anyway, it was great and so relaxing! I can’t wait to go back again.

My first real lover came into my work today. I haven’t seen him for a million years. I didn’t recognize him right away but after hearing his voice I said “Do I know you? What’s your name?”. It turns out it was him! Yikes! It was fun though.

A positive day with my sweetheart taking care of some things that we have put off for a long time! Everything worked out really well for us and we treated ourselves to a yummy meal at the Macrobiotic restaurant afterwords.

Picked up a beautiful cake for my coworkers birthday tomorrow

The weather changed a million times today. It was raining around 10, yet sunny just a bit later for our visit to the garden.

I took full advantage of my day off…leaving the house early and coming back late.

Ian came over and we hung out with my cat outside while he sniffed around. It was really fun to see my cat having fun! He raced down the stairs to go sniff the hibiscus plant.

A photo album arrived today with childhood photos of my sweetheart. I have been scanning the photos and really enjoying looking at them.

It was beautiful outside today, clear and sunny.

An easy day with no glitches:)
