and I noticed some benefits. I think it helped me trim down a bit. IT also made my skin glow & made me look better in general.
I liked the sauna so much I bought my own portable version (through Clearlight sauna).
I am working on improving a few things with my health which will take more time.
I have been taking a sauna at home M-Fri for 30-50 minutes and it’s been wonderful! I am so glad I found this resource.
JAPANESE RESEARCH – FAR INFRARED BENEFITS:
Aging and Far Infrared Heat Therapy.

Dr. Masao Nakamura of the O and P Medical Clinic in Japan reports success with the use of far infrared heat treatment for the following:
Musculo-skeletal Improvements with Far Infrared Heat.
Success has been reported from infrared treatments by Japanese researchers for the following musculo-skeletal conditions:
Arthritis, Gout, Rheumatoid, DJD (each substantially relieved or improved).
Adhesions (common in competitive athletes, trauma, and repetitive stress syndromes).
Acel-Decel Injury Sequelae.
Low-Back Pain (relieved).

Muscle Tension (relaxed).
Muscle Spasms (reduced or eliminated).
Post-Exercise Muscle Pain (good results – vital to competitive athletes).
Shoulder pain (relieved or improved).
Spinal Chord Shock (reversed post traumatic shock).
Tight Shoulders (more relaxed).
Ear, Nose, and Throat Conditions Relieved with Far Infrared Heat.
The Japanese report the following ear, nose, and throat conditions relieved with far infrared heat treatments:

(THIS WOULD BE AWESOME!!!)
Used routinely in burn units throughout Asia.
for the last one. It was for 45 minutes. I stood up and changed positions every few minutes to make sure every part of me got the benefits. I got extremely hot and sweat so much. The next two nights I slept for 10 hours or so each night. I think the sauna wiped out my energy. I also felt pretty tired.
My skin feels amazingly soft though, everywhere. This is an incredible benefit. I will wait a few days to make my next appointment. I think it’s pretty intense and I need to pace myself.
It’s very warm & cozy in the sauna. The temp. is around 140-140.
The first time I went in for 25, today I went in for 45.
You sweat a lot!! :) Lets just say, it’s really easy to exfoliate afterwards. I think I need to get a loofah!
After the sauna and most of the day I felt intensely peaceful, calm and almost as if a meditation had been ‘forced’ on me.
I did not expect this.
I have 8 more to go.
I wish I had my own…they are not that expensive…I just need to convince M :)
I have never done this but I have a friend who gets these saunas all the time Have any of you tried these saunas? Any tips?
