I had a course I could not write the final paper for due to illness. It was my first semester with migraines and I just wasn’t handling it well. That was three semesters ago.
I need to write that final paper. I want to have a passable draft done by the time I return to class in 15 days. That means I should write another 20 pages by then. It is doable if I work it. But I would really rather spend my time on other things.
I guess this is a warning to anyone in graduate school: avoid those incompletes. They really don’t pay off at all.
