The Beck bootleg is on its way. Once its here and I send it to Patty, I will consider this goal finished. What I would like to do next is find the tapes that I have and post them on db.etree.org to see if anyone wants them so I can begin trading myself.

put most of my attended concerts up on dbtree by now. The next step is to by the cds that I need to send to the guy. I don’t know why I am really avoiding the post office. Let’s set this for Thursday at lunch. Cuz that’s pay day. I need to take Niamh’s stuff, the cds, Jon’s tape? I think that’s it. Sigh. I am avoiding the post office. I think cuz packaging is a pain. Packinging it at home is a pain, and I don’t want to pay for something that I don’t need to pay for. Humph.

I found the coveted Beck bootleg that I want to send to Patty. The trader is coming out of retirement (ret. since July) to send them to me, no trade necessary. What a gem. He will have something good coming his way, I am sure. So, I just need to get high quality discs and get his address. EXCITING!!!

I may use db.etree.org to do this. You can put in all the shows you’ve been to, put in comments, let others know you want a certain show, let people know which shows you have. I am working on it now, but if it organizes the dates for me, this could be just the tool that I need. OH YEAH!! We’re in the money :) The only thing is that in my comments for the show – since this lets you search by only one artist – I will have to add who opened and if I want; who I went with, any funny stories, etc.

So, I have googled the coveted bootleg that I am looking for for Patty, which I have searched for for nearly 4 years now. And, I found someone who has it. Thing is, they have suspended their trade as of July this past year. I sent a pleading e-mail about the show and hope that if he won’t trade with me that he will let me know who he has traded with. It was Beck at the Ambassador Theatre in Dublin, 5-2-03. Or for the Europeans 2-5-03. A solo acoustic evening with Beck. And I was front row and have some great photos. Anyway, I am hopefully about this. Next, to get more bootlegs, I need to compile a list of every concert I’ve gone to organized by date as well as supporting bands and then I can search. Right now I remember the memorable shows and search every now and then, but I would like to have a comprehensive list just for fun anyway. YEEES!
