About the secret book:

I have found the materials and the website that will enable me to do this. Also written previously: to finish the secret book, I have to begin the the secret book. Perhaps this could begin as a monthly column in the local paper. What I would need to do in order to do this is to create a relationship with the local organization. Secondly, I would need to review the related materials that came into the office. I need to prioritize all of these things so that I can accomplish them in a quality way without forgetting about things or doing things half-assed.

Writing Goals

I am going to try to go through at least 10 pages of my writing each night to start. Eventually, I would also like to add the goal of doing at least 15 minutes of writing a day. This can be in line with the secret book, or with editing, or creating new things, or recording dreams, etc.

I need to

organize this a bit better. About submitting, Chitra told me this last year: I’ve just started doing this. Writing to your local magazines about topics that interest you, book reviews, movie reviews etc. They always take that stuff in, often from freelancers.

In Egypt, they will take articles about places you’ve travelled to at http://www.traveltodayarabia.com . You get a decent rate for stories, esp. if you’re not living in Cairo. I read your entry on Tibet on 43places. Sounds like you had a memorable there; if you have good pictures, and a feature/story to go with it, I’m very sure they’d be interested.

Good luck!
