Set up lunch at GVSU - (aka do job shadowing)

I did it. I booked the lunch for Feb. 12th at 1pm. I am sooo excited about this! I don’t really think it will be lunch, but it should be a good meeting I think. I am really excited and happy that I said I would do it and now I have. Awesome! So, my first job shadowing – more of an interview, but it sounds like I could come back some time and do job shadowing. Hooray!

next day I have off is Feb. 19th. I don’t want to wait that long. I need to e-mail the person in question and see what works for them and then make it work out with my job. I want to take time off to do this. I would love to go to the career center at the same time, but that may be too stressful to arrange at this time.

For a start, having a lunch meeting with my past study abroad advisor. Contacting individuals at all Michigan universities involved with the study abroad programs. Locating archivists within Michigan. Calling or e-mailing them. I am focusing on study abroad and archivist folks for now. Also, I would like to come up with one occupation I know nothing about but could be interesting and find a person to interview about it.
