i have had to work for the first two debates so i am excited to be able to catch this last one tonight. i was able to watch the one vice presidential debate, which was quite interesting. i love the concept of debating, and my pscyh background adds to my interest. the body language, the tone, not just what they say, but how they say it. can’t wait to watch!

went on a lunch date the other day. i sent him a message to make sure we were still on, and i guess he got the time confused and didnd’t know he was suppose to be there. i guess i was ok with it, even though i gave him a hard time, but if i hadn’t sent him a message, i would have sat there and he would not have shown up. i would have been so pissed. anyway, it was nice to talk with someone about the issues in our lives, and we had great conversations, but they revolved around him. i would ask him questions, and he would answer them. he never asked about me, which i consider ill-mannered, so two huge strikes against him already. it was an ok date, and i would like to be friends with him, but i think he was after one thing, and the date was just to humor me and see if i would put out. which of course i would not. so another bad one, but i am learning more about dating guys, and about myself and my standards, and what i am looking for, so i come away from this better off. always gotta look at the positive side of a situation!

i enjoy the music from all of these performers so it is bound to be a great night. i hope they have tshirts or cds of this event. that would be a great way for them to raise even more money for breast cancer research, and i get to have a cool shirt and show off that i was a part of this wonderful event…
