get a real job

No luck on getting a surprise promotion this week, but I am running a “tea party” for my store, so hopefully it will make me look good for the boss. Teaching jobs should be posted in a couple of weeks, and then I’ll be looking for a position in the area. Either way, I think I’m on the right track.

So my “Plan A” right now is to apply for a teaching job, and hopefully begin teaching at a high school in the area this August. Teaching jobs should be posted in the next month or two, so I’ll look at what they post. “Plan B” is to probably move to Seattle or Portland in the Spring, and look for either a teaching job or something salaried and bookish. I’ll work as a barista in the mean time.
