I don’t understand why the American Right is so petrified of it. I think it’s a case of Fear what we don’t understand, stoked by Fox news. But then the kind of morons who watch Fox news would never understand about compassion and fairness and making sure that everyone has a fair chance, even if they have made mistakes in life. Let’s face it if anyone here can honestly stand up and say “I have never ever f**ked up” then fair enough, but we all know that’s not the case.
Anyway, why the fear? Instead of being frightened and listening to scare mongers like the unbelievably crappy Fox news hows about doing some actual non-biased research, not hearsay, actual research finding out the facts? Maybe then you wouldn’t be so petrified of us scary Lefties. Afterall do you really think that The whole of the UK & France is some kind of seething sess pit of scariness? :)
