I finally did it! It was worth it although the second sleepless night wasn’t easy. Now I feel at a sort of plateau where I could stay awake forever. I had a couple of hallucinations, but nothing scary just seeing things that weren’t there. They’ve stopped and now I feel great! I’m trying for another day (see: “stay awake for three days straight”). Its actually really fun, because lots of things seem hilarious (don’t watch family guy after 48 hours or you may die of hysteric laughter).

I bombed out at 5am Saturday, woke up again at 12pm. Attempt #999,999,999… Its 7am Sunday now (19 hours). School tomorrow might help, but I’m worried whether I can sustain myself for 51 hours sleepless. Mind you, the world record without sleep is 11 days. Perhaps I’ll just coma out 7:30am tomorrow so I can skip school :-D
Why do I do this? It’s just so much fun, plus I’m trying to lose weight. Last time I quit after 38 hours and slept for what seemed like a week. I’m 10 hours in! Hopefully mum dosen’t mind…
I’m in the process of completing this one- i’ll update here when I can remember.
I hit a huge wall at 26 hours but got over it by biting the bullet and stripping down for an ice-cold shower. It works! I’ve had 3 showers. I’m going for the big one: a Personal Best of 38 hours to beat!
19 hours to go… I can do this!
