pay off my credit card

I’m afraid to look up my total debt but I’m going to focus on this, this fall. I need to find work in order to pay it off :D

I can’t even think about doing this until I get a job. It’s one thing after another, after another….

Must. Get. Working!

I had done so well, eradicating nearly $12000 in debt while not even working! But, the opportunity to go to school to become a teacher came up and I could not get ANY help either through loans (this program isn’t eligible for funding) or through regular funding….

My school did wonderful work in helping me out with what they could but several thousands of dollars had to go onto the credit cards this past summer. And, it’ll have to happen next summer too… I had no choice but I had to do this so I could finally get trained and make $50K again instead of some crappy, minimum wage job…. short-term risk for long-term gain. Grrrrrrrrrr…..

I’m not giving up though! I’m working hard on making sure all bills are paid and that maybe next year we can save a bit of $$ for school….

Since April, 2005 I have brought my debt (credit card & consuming spending) down from $28500 to almost $12000 with luck by the end of the month. I’m not quite there yet but getting closer and closer to achieving this goal!
