Specifically, I want to take my wife to Sitka, AK. She lived there when she was young and she always says how much she would like to go back. Hopefully, we will be able to go next summer. She doesn’t know I’m planning it, so I hope to make it a big surprise, setting up her time off at work and everything so we just take off on the day of the trip. I am thinking about flying into Anchorage and taking the ferry down to Sitka because Alaska Airlines flies out of our airport now to Anchorage twice per day. Does anyone have any experience taking the ferries?
