get rid of unnecessary possessions

but I’m half way to my getting-rid-of-100-possessions goal, so why not consider this done? Between this and all of the weeding out I did when moving last summer, I think I can say I’ve made enough progress to call this good. Like I said before, I’ll always have unnecessary possessions, but I’m getting closer to getting rid of most of my unused possessions.

I will always have unnecessary possessions. I don’t know what I was thinking. They are the whipped cream on top of the pie… of course you don’t NEED them, but they make life a little sweeter. However, when I move out of my apartment I plan to go through everything and get rid of things that are absolutely useless or that I just don’t want or use at all. I think this is good enough, and I don’t see this as failing. Rather, I’m shifting my attitude about this particular goal.
