Ughhh...

I gave up for a while. Even though those little emails would come in reminding me that I was supposed to be losing weight. I now weigh what I weighed when I gave birth to both of my children. That has made me ashamed. My husband still says he thinks I look great and I love him even more for that…but…I need to get the weight off. Back to Demandfitness. 2 days in a row I’ve worked out…1 day of step and 1 day of balance ball. I want my clothes to fit again!!!!



I'm back

...and unfortunately back to where I started. However, I am more motivated. Funny how uncomfortably tight jeans will do that to you. Actually, I am more enthused about exercising. I bought a fitness ball and have begun using it. My muscles may hate me now, but they’ll be thanking me later!!! Good luck to me (I need to be my biggest cheerleader!)



Pause

I’ve decided with the imminent holidays to put this goasl on hold. Too many temptations and not enough willpower. I think I would be more successful in just keeping off the 5 pounds rather than trying to lose more right now. I’ll pick up again in January!



Holding Steady

That’s good. I was worried that with Halloween I would gain everything back. Now that reoirt cards are over, maybe I’ll have more time to exercise.



Woo hoo!

I lost 5 pounds. I think it’s a fluke because I had a bladder infection and the meds gave me SEVERE diarrhea…but I’ll take the loss!



Work out

I found this site for an online gym that is pretty cool. (http://www.demandfitness.com) I worked out with a warm up, a 20 minute step class, and a cool down. I think I’m going ot subscribe for a month and see how much I use it. It has all kinds of classes.

or in this case, lose some…gain them back. Depressing but I haven’t been working that hard. Maybe this week will be better. Going to start my exercise this week!



First Monday

Lost 2 pounds! Ordered an aerobic step…should be here this week…exercise will start! Yea!



The Beginning (sort of)

This is sort of the beginning. I say sort of because I’ve said it before, but not with any real conviction. I say “I hate the way I look” or “I hate being fat” but I don’t really do anything about it. I’ve gained more weight since meeting my husband than I care to think about (although, kudos to him…best man EVER, he always says that I look beautiful!).

My goal is to lose 20 pounds. That means down to 150 lbs. The scary thing is that about 10 years ago I joined Weight Watchers at 154 pounds and lost 20 then. Now I want to lose 20 and be where I started at. Who knows, maybe I’ll be able to keep going and lose more, but I really want to try for at least 20 pounds.

So, how am I going to do this? Good question. I am thinking about rejoining WW, but the money bothers me. So, I’d like to try it on my own first. I’m watching my portions and what I eat, trying to make more healthy choices. My biggest challenges…junk food! Love it! Starbucks….yum! Next? Exercise! It’s hard to find time to exercise. I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old plus work full time. Time at the gym for me means time away from my kids. I’d love to walk with them but there aren’t sidewalks in my neighborhood. I’ll have to be more creative and try to find something else.
