Visit Scotland

While I doubt I would take a 19 month old overseas again, I am so very glad we did because we had a lovely trip to Edinburgh last month. Toting Will around was actually not too hard, the city is very baby friendly—although some pubs weren’t. ;)

My favorite parts: the views from Arthur’s seat (that made the hike worth it), the castle, the royal mile, and visiting Holyrood House. It was oh so nice to escape from reality for a while and enjoy my family.

We are planning to visit Edinburgh where my cousin is now living. Since we have been invited to stay at her place, we just need to save money for the air fare and the expenses of the trip (food, rental car, etc.) I need to research the cost of taking a child (also, we need to worry about checking things like the stroller, and car seat). We will be getting our passports this month, although that is another thing… :)
