Since I bought my first cross stitch kit when I was 15 I’ve actually managed to compete 3. (The first one I bought is still sitting around unfinished ‘cos I messed it up and could never be bothered to unpick the stitches… same with the second one!) Last year I actually managed to complete a kit for the first time… one of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. I was so proud of myself when it was all done. :) The next one I finished was an Eeyore bookmark that I got as a christmas present one year. When my baby brother was born in September I decided I was going to stitch a Tatty Teddies New Baby sampler. That’s all done now (it only took me 2 months! A record for me!) and I’m now working on one for my boyfriend’s birthday. I’m about half done and his birthday’s in March. After that i want to to do many more. i love cross stitching… it gives me something to do and I always feel good about myself when I’m finished. I’m no good at art or anything like that, so it’s always nice to be able to creat something that people can display somewhere :)
