live in Paris

Hey everyone! I’m in Paris now. I’ve been here since November 2008 (it’s now Feb. 2009). I must say it is quite the experience. It is really nothing like I thought it would be; but I have grown so much from this experience. I have actually been keeping a blog about my life here.

I leave for Paris in November (2008). I can’t believe it! It’s been 5 years since I set this goal and now it is only 7 days before I leave for Paris. Wish me luck everybody.

I want to live in Paris for at least three months (that’s how long a tourist visa lasts for the US). I would really love to live there for about a year or two; but I’m much too lazy to go through all the formalities. I would much rather go there and just figure it out as I go along. Does anyone know if it is feasible to get housing on a trade/barter? I would be willing to teach english and writing to youths or adults.
