donate hair to Locks of Love

during the summer between my freshman and sophomore year, i unintentionally did it again. i was just getting a regular haircut from this asian lady (what a surprise in diamond bar, california- right? ahahah) into a bob. When it was cut off, she said it was long enough to donate to locks of love. i think it was just a little under or over, but nonetheless i gladly said yes when she asked if i wanted to locks of love. i didn’t even know that they were associated with that organization.

i donated my hair in third grade and felt prouder than ever, knowing that i was lending a helping hand to the bald. i never planned it, for it just came home with us as mail for my parents. I told my mom i wanted to do it, and the next thing i knew it was a week later and i was sitting on a chair with someone behind me with sissors in her hand. i donated 10 inches of hair! =)
