i would love for people here to comment so i could get some outside opinions :-)
school. ohhhhh school. education is important. me an my parents agree on this. and i have a huuuuge decision i am facing that could end up costing me a year.
option 1: stay at SFCC. i have an apartment here in Spokane that i love, friends that support me. and i am 300 miles from my family. continuing to go to sfcc in the 08-09 school year i would finish my a.a.s. in interior design and my gen eds (and work full time during this year) to be able to apply for the third year program and then continue on to WSU, leaving me to graduate in 2010 (if i so choose) which is another decision i have to make in the near future, if i want to go on to WSU and get my bachelors in interior design
option 2: transfer next fall to BCC for the 08-09 school year. live with my parents, and all my close friends from the past three years are 300 miles away. put all my possessions in spokane at a storage until i come back for my fourth year at WSU. (who knows where Ron would live during this time while i am going to BCC) but going to BCC gives me the POSSIBILITY of being able to go to WSU in the 09-10 school year. but its only a possibility, because the programs are so different i would have to play a little catch up with their courses and its only a possibility that i would make it through there sequential studios in time for summer studio at WSU in summer 09. (keep in mind that a while back i lost a year of school and technically i should be graduating in 09 anyways) but its only a possibility that i would make it to WSU in summer 09. if the program at BCC can’t arrange for me to take two of the studio classes at the same time i would be into another fall and i would be in the same situation as option a, except i would be on the other side of the state….
these two options seem so similar to me, and yet so entirely different. going through with either option will drastically change my life, my career, my experiences….everything.
i love my life so much just how it is now. and i wish i had a magic ball to tell me where i would be in 10 years if i took each path, ya know like one of those crazy dream movies where you see yourself in two entirely different situations. and in one you’re so happy and in the other you only seem happy and the other is actually so much better.
i don’t know. that was a lot of rambling but also a lot of information. i really need some opinions on the school thing. thinking about the two options makes me want to cry and my head explode. please friends give me some tough feedback and thoughts. if you can give me the crazy dream where i see myself in two worlds.
