Recently I just read Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, and found it incredibly inspiring. Though I have grown up in city and suburban areas, I really have this urge to go hiking and get more in touch with nature, as I feel we all should be. Alaska would be the ultimate trip one day. I just have to figure out exactly what part (Anchorage?), how, what time of year to go – more clearly defining this goal.
