So my mother and I decided it would be best to skip the whole trying to go to the gym in the morning and instead walk around the neighborhood every morning. Hopefully this will lead up to me being able to jog for long periods of time. This morning was the first that we tried this. We walked 2 miles before work, only because that was all we had time for. Maybe next time we can do it twice around the neighborhood and walk 4. I tried jogging a little bit but it didn’t last long… I just feel my whole body when I run. Don’t like that at all. But the goal is definitely to keep it up. Let’s see how it goes tomorrow!

I really want to be able to do this as a lifelong routine, but I am building up to it. The reason why this is hard for me is because 1) I don’t like doing things alone and 2) I am usually unaware of how far I should go or where I am going. So, for now I am going to start off with going to the gym in the mornings. That way, I will already be in the habit of exercising when I decide to just start jogging instead of going to the gym.
