Stepped off the cruise ship gangway and jumped on to the docks at Ketchikan, AK and shouted the above word. DONE! Then I celebrated by downing all you can eat crabs at the George Inlet Lodge.

Alaska is known as “The Last Frontier” and for me it truly was. The inside passage is amazing and the glaciers of Glacier Bay and College Fjord are a must see in your lifetime.

This goal is one of the best things I have ever done. And I am proud to say I have completed it. Hmmm, now what.

So close I can almost taste the Alaskan Salmon melting in my mouth already. Checked off RI early this week, the smallest US state. That leaves only Alaska the largest.

Rhode Island and Alaska. AK trip is planned and will happen before the end of 2011. Now just have to figure out a way to hit RI before then.
