clean my car

Pete cleaned out my van before vacation started, so right now it isn’t in awful shape, maybe a little bit of stuff that still needs to be unpacked, but not too bad. Now to see if I can actually keep it clean???

Yesterday I actually took the wheelbarrow, shovel and rake out of the back of the van. I feel like I need to admit that these items were put in my van in AUGUST, when I was helping to get our school playground mulch spread out before school started. Um, yeah, I was toting it all around for way too long. I also cleared out some of the stuff that was in the middle section of the van and emptied a bunch of garbage. It’s not exactly clean, but it is much less cluttered – which will make the cleaning of it much easier.

I’ve emptied out the middle section (where the kiddos sit), but still need to get the wheelbarrow, rake and shovel out of the back (uh, yeah, they’ve been in there since the end of August) and clean out the books that have accumulated in between the front seats. Maybe tomorrow I will work on the books.

It is so sorta stupid that I can’t seem to do this. Whenever I go somewhere with Pete, he says, “uh, clean out the car is still on your list, huh?” Gotta scratch this off soon!
