so my husband saw his doctor, and it turns out that things are progressing well – the injections he has been taking for the last 4 months were like preparatory, and not for actually increasing the sperm count. Now he has to change medicine and inject every 2 days for 3 – 6 months. The poor guy, it’s tiring and painful for him. But it gives us hope to know that things are going according to plan.

My husband just did his first set of tests after 4 months of injections 3 times a week. His testosterone level is normal but sperm count is zero. He has an appointment tomorrow with the doctor, but so far we don’t know what our options are from here. Disappointing, but it’s still the first setback, hopefully we have some other options.
my husband has hypogonadism, which basically means that he has a zero sperm count. Now that we’ve decided to try to have a baby, he’s been injecting 3 times a week for the last 3 months to get the sperm count up, and now he has to have some more tests to see if the injections are working. Have to be patient, I know this could take some time…
