Week 2 Day 3
I couldn’t remember what Day 3 was supposed to be, and I didn’t have my plan with me at the gym yesterday…
It ended up actually slightly higher than the plan so no issues there.
Generally my left arm is weaker than my right; so I have switched to doing my max on my left side first to try and keep both sides fairly balanced. It was a bit weird however this time; I had a higher max on the left for the first time ever :O Not sure what is up with that.
This is what I ended up doing.
Set 1: 6
Set 2: 7
Set 3: 7
Set 4: 7
Max : L15/R10
Total :L42/R37

I did the exact same set as last time; which was about a week ago. I hurt my back and had to take some time off. Figured I should just repeat my last set rather than stepping it up. Saturday I will begin week 2.

Week 1 Day 2
Just to make it clear I am following the program from hundredpushups.com, but doing it one armed now. I completed the 100 challenge with standard push-ups in January.
I was doing some one armed push-ups on and off while I was doing the standard 100 challenge, but wasn’t doing anything official…
So without further ado…
Tonight’s sets were
Set 1: 3
Set 2: 4
Set 3: 3
Set 4: 3
Max : 6
Total = 19 each side.
I don’t feel great about this, but slow and steady wins the race.

Wow; my last entry was over 3 weeks ago. And that is the last time I did any 1 arm push ups.
Today I got some resolve and decided I was starting this and my new sit up goal in earnest.
Tonight I did the following for left and right sides.
Set 1: 3
Set 2: 3
Set 3: 2
Set 4: 2
Max: 5
Total=15 each side.
This is absolutely pathetic. Three weeks ago my max was the same as tonight’s total. I’m feeling incredibly depressed, but strangely motivated. ARGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Set 1: 6
Set 2: 5
Set 3: 5
Set 4: 5
Max : Left(12)/Right(15)
Left Total = 33
Right Total = 36
I should have done a couple things different tonight. I should have upped the first 4 sets by a couple of push ups each. For the max set I should start with my left arm first since it is the weaker arm. Then on the right arm I can just stop at what ever the max was on the left side; this way I’m not contributing to the further imbalance between the two sides.

Tonight I did the following sets
5
5
7
7
10
Total : 34
The final set of 10 was fine for the right arm, but the left arm was a real struggle. If lefty doesn’t get his head in the game I may just have to trade him in.

After 5 months of hard work I was finally able to do 100 consecutive standard push ups. About 1/2 way through the program I decided to try a one arm push-up (never been able to do one in my life before) and found I was able to pull off 3 at the time!
Currently I can do about 8 or 9 consecutive one arms. I’ve gotten bored with the regular push ups now, I currently hit between 250 and 350 a night across 5 sets.
Today’s sets were as follows.
8
5
