I have one 36×48 stretched, and another waiting to be stretched. I can’t wait to start with the gesso. Oh, this is a process I’ve missed.

Robin-Elise Call has written 3 entries about this goal
I have found that the way to have a happy portfolio is to have work to put in the portfolio that makes you happy.
It also helps to have some inspiring fiber paper to print on.
Perhaps it is equally satisfying to have a cover or box that sort of makes you want to sleep in it, it is so fantastic.
I did not have these things for the interview this morning, but I did not go empty handed, and I WILL have these “happy things” in the future.
I have a job interview on Wednesday, and don’t know what I was thinking when I applied, not remembering this little detail.
I know what I’m capable of, but I guess I never thought I could possibly get paid for piddling around in Illustrator and Photoshop. I’ve made a couple of little simple things, but I don’t have any fabulous personal thing that shows the extent of my abilities.
Since I’m really more of a painter, I never invested any effort into this type of portfolio.
