Okay. With my new job, I’m getting quite a bit more physical activity than I was before. In fact, in the five weeks or so that I’ve been there, my husband as already started to notice a little bit of weight loss – plus, one of my pairs of pants now requires a belt. So, yay!
However, I could really use some toning. So I’m going to keep this goal as it is, with the understanding that by “exercise” I mean “use my weights.”
I think this might actually be fun.

I’m going to forgive myself for not really starting this goal until now, because of the Christmas madness. But now it’s the 26th, and I’ve waited long enough.
Since I have the day off work today, I’m committing to taking the dog out to the park. One circuit is about 30 minutes, maybe a little longer since it’s so cold.
I also just found an exercise routine that you can do in your living room, with the only “props” needed being hand weights and a couch or chair – I have that! So on Wednesday, I will give it a try. It’s not much cardio, but I need weight training as well, so that’s alright.
This weekend we’ll be out of state visiting my husband’s family, so either Friday or Saturday (depending on our schedule) I will go swimming in the hotel pool.
