learn to play the violin

found the business card while cleaning the apt. one of my new year’s resolutions LAST year was to start violin lessons…i wonder if the teacher is still available? should i call? can i afford it? will i be able to find a baby sitter during classes if i start? do i have the time—can i make the time?

so many questions involved in that one little card!

this was also a new year’s resolution for 2006…wow, the year is almost up and i have not even made any headway on this. well, i guess that’s not true, i have a tip on a conservancy for lessons and a reference for a teacher.

i’ve inherited a violin and have had it for several years. it’s been a goal and new year’s resolution and i still haven’t MADE the time to learn how to play it. i even have a number for a violin teacher! my life keeps getting in the way of this goal. i am looking forward to making that phone call because i know it will take a long time to learn how to play my violin well and that in itself will keep me busy learning, practicing and growing.
