be more romantic

I went to a nice romantic restaurant for our anniversary… that was great. It’s about as romantic as I get. I have found she’s similar so it doesn’t help me… it’s like, we have 1 second of a romantic moment and then we revert for it. I guess that’s how some people are but when I can, I’ll try to be romantic!

What could be more romantic than Valentine’s Day unless you were on Clark Street in 1929!? Actually, I don’t believe in Hallmark Holidays and because of a thousand things going on Tuesday, we actually went to dinner on Monday the 13th. She knows I have an entry about being more romantic and I thought I should try to do something so I at least have something to write about. I guess it’s one of those things- she just said: when you try to be romantic is doesn’t come out right but it’s when you don’t try that you are romantic. Hhmmm… maybe I had this goal without knowing I didn’t need it. Maybe internally I didn’t know it so I felt like I needed to be more romantic. Well, anniversary dinner tonight (since again Tuesdays don’t work out too well)… don’t know if I will be posting anything tomorrow! Ha!

OK, I am not as smooth as James Bond or some characters you see on TV but it makes you think when you’re out on a date about being more romantic, charming, etc. Sometimes we go out and I feel like we’re just hanging out when I should be more romantic and make the time we have together that much more special. I like being casual, we both do, but I feel we need to find more time to have those romantic moments and I need to work on intiating it on my end- that’s my goal here!
