begin building my LEGACY

I’m going to be an Educator. This is a great addition to my legacy.

This to me is an ongoing goal.. I’ll always have this on my list, and it’ll always be near the top.

I’m going to start looking for places to volunteer after work at least once a week.

I need to create some type of business.. period end of story. I’m thinking of doing my graduate work in either School Psychology or community Psych. I’m definitely going to contract out with the government or a hospital.

... just my thoughts.

I’ve been thinking about this goal more and more. I’m hoping to teach in Atlanta public schools this fall, but I’ve been thinking more and more about charter schools. I’m hoping to eventually have my own. I don’t take the education of our children lightly.. at all . So I’m thinking if I get my masters in curriculum and a Ed.D in the same area

... I’m thinking I can have my own charter school.

Thinking about getting involved with The Links in implementing an all girls middle school in Atlanta Public Schools. I need to get more information on it.

I love looking at this goal on my list. It inspires me.

My better half and I were talking about legacies and contributions to society. We are both fresh out of college. We both know our charge from the community, and we just really began to talk about what does out future hold. More than anything my goal is to begin my legacy. I’m not concerned with fame or fortune, I simply know I have a charge to work and make a difference. Right now he is in Washington working on a issue that happen in Atlanta a few months back. This weekend he has a board meeting for the Algebra project an organization with an Education focus.

I on the other hand, need to become involved in SOMETHING. I always use the excuse of I’m so busy. But there is time. I make time for everything else so there is time to serve. So this is it.. It’s time to begin building my legacy. I’m 21 now and I hope to look back on this goal and see progress.
