The very best advice I’ve heard in regard to this is “Don’t be afraid to make bad art.” Right now, good paper is expensive, but what I really need to do is grab a stack of printer paper and just draw on it. Get all those crappy drugstore art supplies out and color like a little kid, just to do it!
