Anatomy TA

Working my way through the textbook, slowly but surely. It keeps my brain and study skills sharp. But, even more exciting, I’ve been a lab TA for the Anatomy class at my alma mater since the start of the semester! I love keeping my hands in the dissectorial action, as it were, and it gives me the chance to hang out with fellow pre-meds and the professor. :)

Chapter 2 done!

Basic review of cell bio done. On to chapter three…

Just finished Chapter 1!

Notes typed and flashcards put into flashcard program. Hooray!

Only 27 chapters and 700 more pages to go…eep…

...and taught myself the nine abdominopelvic regions. The quadrants were easy. Now I just have to each myself what’s, you know, IN those regions and quadrants.

Once again

My spring semester senior year, I took a class in Vertebrate Anatomy, and it was one of my favorite classes ever. But, I fear I’ve forgotten the majority of what I’ve learned, which is pretty sad, especially considering I want to be a doctor.

I’ve got my hefty Anatomy textbook from that class sitting on my bookshelf – I should use it! So I’m going to re-teach myself Anatomy. That should keep my study skills finely honed as well as keep my brain occupied.
