dye my hair platinum blonde

I DID IT!
i’m going to post a pic soon and then i will officially mark this “done” and have no more excuses – i’ll have to begin serious work on the other (probably more important) things on my list.

so tomorrow at ten i become a platinum blonde!!!

made the appointment for october 16th! am a little bit scared but also really, super excited! i have something to look forward to AND i kick myself up out of a rut!

impatient girl I am- I took the opportunity of seeing my hairdresser tonight to go ahead & run the idea by him (aka: get up the guts to ask him if he would, slash, convince him)... see, he has very strong opinions about my hair since I’ve often f’ed it up on my own & run back to him for damage control! anyhoo, he said he’d do it! we made a compromise to lose some of the length (cut to a very textured chin length bob) to insure it’ll look healthy & not fried but he said he’d go ahead & bleach me! he did make me swear to keep on top of the root maintenance though :)
I think I’ll hold out for about a month & then do it just before Halloween- will go perfect with my unicorn costume!!!
my bff is going to hate it & I bet my man won’t like the idea but OH WELL!

i’ve been platinum before (but with espresso hidden in the underneath layers) and want to do it again (without the darkness this time) soon. i’m thinking i’ll do it right at halloween and rock it for a few months aftewards.
